Our Story

Our story

Ride further.
Ride safer.

Most rides don't end because of tired legs. They end because of a light that dies halfway home, a car that didn't see you, or a bike that wasn't there when you came back to the rack.

Rovabike is a small, young brand built by riders who got tired of scrolling through hundreds of near-identical listings to find gear that works. So we did the sorting for you: a short, focused range of everyday gear for commuters, e-bike riders and anyone who rides after dark.

Why "Rova"?

It comes from rove: to wander, to go a little further than planned. Take the longer road home, stay out after sunset, and know your gear has your back.

How we choose our gear

Every product has to do one of four jobs well:

• Be seen. Rechargeable front and rear lights, brake and turn signals, and side lighting for your wheels.
• Keep it yours. Hidden tracker mounts and a loud alarm – a second line of defence after a good lock.
• Carry it simply. Bags and phone mounts that keep your essentials secure without slowing you down.
• Fix it on the road. A pump and multi-tool small enough to forget about, until the day you need them.

We compare materials, specs and rider feedback before adding anything, and we remove products that don't hold up.

Built as a kit, not a pile of parts

Most riders end up buying lights, a bag and a pump one by one. We put the essentials into ready-to-ride kits that cost less than buying each piece separately here. Our favourite is the Night Commuter Kit: front light, brake-sensing tail light, saddle bag and pump in one order, $8.97 less than buying the four items on their own.
